Thursday, September 7th
 
Private lessons available Thursday afternoon!
 
6:30 – 8:30 pm – Special Workshop: Training for advanced couples.
Attendees will work intensively with a partner and investigate together.
$50 fee per couple – (Not part of the weekend workshop package.)
Space is restricted to 8 couples. All slots are currently taken. Please contact Patrick if you’re
interested to be on the wait list.
8:30 – 9:00 – Practica after workshop.
 

Friday, September 8th

Private lessons available Friday afternoon!
6:30 – 8:00 pm – Workshop 1 – Finding comfort in the embrace and walking.
8:15 – Midnight – Opening milonga. 80/20 (Trad/Alt) – DJ – Patrick
 
Saturday, September 9th
 
12:00 – 1:30 – Musical History Lecture
     History of the Main Tango Orchestras. It’s a slideshow of 1.5hr with videos and pictures,  explaining the development of tango and the different tango styles of each orchestras.
2:00 – 3:30 pm – Workshop 2 – Concatenation of sacadas in the giro.
4:00 – 5:30 pm – Workshop 3 – Enrosques & Calesitas for leaders and followers.
8:00 – 9:00 pm – Introductory class taught by local instructors.
9:00 – 1:00 pm – Grand Milonga. 90/10 (Trad/Alt) – THeme: Water! – DJ – Hernan Prieto
1:15  – ??? – Late, late alternative milonga! 40/60 (Trad/Alt) – DJ -Rob Gallimore
 
Sunday, September 10th
 
1:00 – 2:30 pm – Workshop 4 – Turns in tight spaces
3:00 – 4:30 pm – Workshop 5 – Vals: cadenas (chains).
6:00 – Potluck BBQ – farewell dinner.
Location: Lori & Patrick’s house in Potomac. You can find directions to “Second Chance” here.

7:30 – Farewell milonga in the Yurt! 80/20 (Trad/Alt) – DJ – Patrick
 
 
Can you volunteer during the weekend, help set-up, clean-up or register folks? 

Private sessions available with Daniela and Hernan are available on a first come, first serve basis.
They charge $80 for 1 hour for one of them or $120 for both.
